Hello and welcome to the Mayor of Ramsgate Website 2008-2009.

My name is Kay Dark and I am a Thanet District Councillor. I serve as a representative for all residents within the Northwood Ward of Ramsgate.

I am a member of the Licensing Board and a Governor of Dame Janet Junior School, Ramsgate.

I am also a Ramsgate Charter Trustee and have the honour of being the Town Mayor of Ramsgate 2008-2009

I am committed to working hard with and on behalf of all residents, and representing all the people of Ramsgate.

My aim is to be a 'local' Mayor promoting Ramsgate locally and surrounding areas and I will of course, be supportive of our special historic Cinque Port status.
